I finally took the plunge and decided to try out D&D Online. I'm trying to figure out why I waited this long, as I am an avid D&D game fan and have been since the gold box games. I jumped right in and tried out the rogue class, and so far it has been pretty fun, though it feels a little too tame at the moment. I'll try some other classes but chances are this isn't the kind of game I will even consider sticking with. After that it's on to LOTR Online.
Oddly enough I have been wanting to play PlanetSide but I can't bring myself to pay for it. It was a good game but It's kind of old now and the cost seems steep. Maybe i'll just try Tabula Rasa out instead. Anyway - first round in D&D Online has been fun but I have 9 more days to figure it all out.
