Looking Ahead

Well with our Game of the Year Awards inching closer towards being done (please God, end this misery) it about time to start looking into the crystal ball to talk about the future of gaming. There are a few titles that I am really jazzed about.

The first one that comes to mind is Army of Two, a game that thinks about co-op play right out of the box. Hell, coop IS one of the key features on that box. Then we have Fallout. I know Fallout fanboys already have their collective panties in a twist about what Bethesda is doing with this franchise but I don't care - I still want to play it.

Then there's Warhammer Online. A few months go when I wouldn't have even thought about playing an MMO I was looking at Warhammer Online. It's dark and I like it!

Finally there's the new Marvel Super Hero MMO. After playing Cryptic's City of Heroes, I am imagining what they can do with this license and a universe chalked full of fiction, characters and more just waiting to be used. I'm a bit dissapointed that it may be Vista Only but there's an Xbox 360 version to fall back on.

There are a lot of other second choice games i am excited about but it's time to get to work so I'll leave you to think about those titles for the time being.
