Heroes Don't take the Yellow Line.

Yeah, i'm "that guy." You know, the guy that is day late and a dollar short of jumping on the band wagon. You know, three years late... jumping on the band wagon. Well to be fair, I didn't have a machine capable of running this or any other decent game so here I am now singing the praises. And this post isn't for those that have already played the game and have grown tired of it. No, this post is for those that have not yet to sampled the greatness that is City of Heroes. I'm a sucker for super hero games and COH hits the spot and delivers the goods with a simple combat system that works well for both the casual and the expert.


I'm about 4 days into a free trial and i'm really digging the game. I have a few complaints about certain aspects of it (travel sucks in this game - really, really sucks and the interface is a pain sometimes), but the experience has been mostly fun. I made a controller character with Mind control and empathy; a blaster that focuses on electricity) and a couple of other types I'm still tinkering with. I'll play this sucker to the end of the trial period and maybe purchase 3 - 6 months worth of time if I don't get sick of it..


Oh and I have completely given up on D&D Online. You let me down hard Turbine.
