GameShark's New EIC

Well it's official: as of midnight tonight, I am no longer the Editor in Chief at GameShark.com. I had some great times there and though I saw a lot of good friends go onto to bigger, brighter futures I cast my lot and stuck it out, despite the difficulties of trying to run an editorial site that was once thought of "just a cheat site" -- and at one time in its cycle - just a part of the IGN nation. I can safely say that I left GameShark.com better than I found it and I had a lot of help in doing it.

But there is good news all around in my leaving. Long-time contributor Jeff McAllister will be tackling the news now and William Abner will be taking over as the Editor in Chief. Gameshark couldn't be left in better hands and I am very optimistic that, given the chance, GameShark can grow by leaps and bounds.

I could say a lot more nice things about these two fine fellows, but i'll just go quietly now. Good luck to the team over there - I wish you much success in 2008 and beyond!
